As we all know, our beautiful lakes are one of our most precious natural resources. It is essential that we all play our part in preserving and protecting them for future generations to enjoy. With this in mind, I would like to invite you to join us in a special initiative aimed at keeping our lakes clean and free from pollution.

FRIENDS DON'T LET THEIR FRIENDS...DIVE JUNK! This simple slogan serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of responsible waste management and environmental stewardship. By working together and being mindful of our actions, we can make a real difference in ensuring that our lakes remain pristine and healthy for years to come.

At West Bay Marina and Lakeview Marina we are proud to soon stock the mesh bags noted in the photo above.  You can tie these to your floatie or floating cooler and your friends and companions can put their bottles/cans in the bag vs. sinking them to the bottom of our beaufiful lake.

FYI....in September 2024 Save Eagle Mountain Lake (SEML) volunteer divers picked up over eight 55 gallon drums of bottles and cans off the bottom of the lake in Party Cove.  Along with sunglasses, fishing poles, tool boxes, etc.  Yes, EIGHT 55 gallons drums OF JUST BOTTLES AND CANS and SIX more in 2023..... AND THAT WAS JUST A LIMITED AREA OF PARTY COVE.  SEML will have volunteers out again this September...please watch for the posted date and come on out and see for yourself the volume of trash on the bottom of our beautiful lake.

THOSE BOTTLES AND CANS DID NOT GET ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LAKE BY ACCIDENT.  SOMEONE'S FRIEND OR FRIENDS DID IT....    LET'S ALL HELP PUT AN END TO THIS NEEDLESS LITTERING........PLEASE!
