At West Bay Marina Azle, Texas, our mission is to provide our customers with the best possible boating experience. We strive to create a community of boaters who share our passion for the water, and to offer a wide range of services to help you get the most out of your time on the water. As of August 7th 2023 Eagle Mountain Lake is about 6.4 feet down. Currently only one ramp at West Bay is operational due to the lower lake level. However, we hope to dredge that ramp in the coming weeks. Our sister marina, Lakeview Marina, located on the East side of Eagle Mountain Lake has both of their ramps open. Lakeview was dredged in 2015 and does not anticipate any launching issues unless the lake goes more than 12 feet down. Keep in mind that Eagle Mountain Lake has not been more than 11 feet down since 1957.
As a tool for boaters, we have attached the above graphic of Eagle Mountain Lake. This map is not intended to point out every possible area where the lake may be extremely shallow or you may encounter other obstacles that manifest themselves as the lake level decreases. However, it should provide one with a good idea where the bigger sandbars are located. Keep in mind that just because you think you are in the middle of the lake does not mean it is deep water!!!!
West Bay Marina is a proud annual sponsor for C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation. The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation enriches the lives of children with special needs, supports their families, and strengthens communities through the sport of fishing. They empower families and communities to celebrate children with special needs, making these children feel valued and loved so they can overcome limitations and be successful. The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation (C.A.S.T. = Catch A Special Thrill) is a public charity that was formed in 1991 to join volunteers who love to fish with children who have special needs and disadvantages for a day of fishing in the outdoors.
