Sometimes individuals post things on social media that they no nothing about.  This is especially true when it comes to Eagle Mountain Lake and water level issues.  Recently I saw where someone published that the ramp at West Bay Marina was closed.  Then I saw a post recently that stated this particular boater hit something in the lake when it was 15 feet low in 2023. 

Please note the chart!  It shows some historic high's and lows for Eagle Mountain Lake.  So one might notice that the lake has not been much more than 11 feet down since the 1950's.  So...that boater was not in Eagle Mountain Lake when it was 15 feet low in 2023.....because it wasn't!

Speaking of 2023, in late 2023 we dredged the ramp at West Bay Marina and extended it.  This photo shows how far and how deep we extended the ramp...and keep in mind the lake was about 9 feet low when we did this.  So....West Bay Marina's ramp is open!  However, some of the courtesy slips are too shallow to use.  And remember, Lakeview Marina has the longest ramp on the lake and we didn't close it even when the lake was over 11 feet down!
